Full job description

ifp-labs UK South Yorkshire Ltd is an established and growing food and environmental testing laboratory based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

We are currently recruiting for Part Time Laboratory Technicians. The role involves routine preparation of food samples for testing purposes, general laboratory duties and associated administration.

Positions available in the Microbiology Laboratory and available shift patterns:

Friday/Saturday/Sunday - total 22.5 hrs per week (12pm to 9pm Fri; 10.30am to 6.30am Sat/Sun)

Flexibility around shift hours can be discussed at interview.

GCSE/equivalent or above qualifications in Science, Mathematics and English are required and full training is provided. .

Pay rates exceed the National Living Wage for the UK and the role includes 21 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Duties

Conduct laboratory tests following established protocols and GLP standards.
Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
Utilize laboratory information management systems for data entry and analysis.
Assist in the preparation of samples for analysis
Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and compliance with internal guidelines.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
