Emtelle are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR & Payroll Administrator to join our friendly HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, taking ownership, and being right at the heart of everything we do. No two days are the same, and you’ll play a key role in keeping our people processes running smoothly.
What you'll do:
- Processing monthly payroll information accurately and on time
- Keeping a close eye on absence processes and supporting managers where needed
- Coordinating weekly Occupational Health clinics across Jedburgh and Hawick
- Supporting recruitment activitiy and managing candidate processes
- Assisting with employee relations casework
- Maintain and update employee records to ensure everything stays accurate and up to date
- Responding to employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and HR policies in a helpful and timely way.
About you:
- You've got a solid understanding of HR principles and payroll processes.
- You are a strong communicator, comfortable working with people at all levels.
- You've got great attention to detail and pride yourself on accuracy
- You're well organised, able to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- You're confident using MS Office, especially Excel
