Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and customer service to contribute to a welcoming environment. Prior hotel experience, hospitality knowledge, or janitorial experience will be considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to at all times
Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and minibar items as required
Follow established procedures for waste disposal and linen handling
Assist guests with their requests courteously and professionally
Maintain a high level of organisation in assigned work areas

Requirements

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties throughout the shift
Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed
A positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent guest service
