Early Years EducatorJob Summary

We are looking for a passionate, caring, and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our friendly team at our Middleham setting. In this rewarding role, you will nurture, inspire, and educate young children in a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment. You will play a vital role in supporting children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through engaging, play-based learning experiences.

This position can be offered on a term-time-only basis if required.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.
Observe, assess, and record children's progress, sharing information with parents and carers where appropriate.
Manage behaviour positively to maintain a safe, happy, and stimulating learning environment.
Build strong relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues through effective communication.
Work collaboratively with the wider team to provide the highest standards of care and education.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised setting, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.
Encourage children's curiosity, creativity, and independence through high-quality play-based learning.

Essential Requirements

A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years, Childcare, or a related subject.
Previous experience working in a nursery, preschool, or other early years setting.
A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team while also using your own initiative.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
A commitment to providing high-quality childcare and education.

Have references specifically address their suitability to work with children and young people.
