Overview
Eco Home Insulation is seeking a skilled and dedicated Solar Roofer to join our growing renewable energy team.
We are looking for an experienced roofer with a strong background in pitched roofing and preferably Solar PV installations. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out roofing works and solar panel installations to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Essential Requirements
- Proven roofing experience
- Experience working on pitched roofs
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work safely at height
- Strong understanding of roofing methods and materials
- Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship
Desirable
- Solar PV installation experience
- Experience with slate and tiled roofs
- Working at Height Certification
- PASMA or IPAF Certification
- Experience with roof repairs and re-roofing projects
- CSCS Card
Duties & Responsibilities
- Install Solar PV mounting systems and panels on domestic and commercial properties.
- Carry out roof preparation works to ensure installations are weatherproof and compliant.
- Complete roof repairs, re-roofing works and remedial roofing tasks as required.
- Work with slate, tile and other roofing systems.
- Ensure all installations are completed safely and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Assist electricians and other installation teams where required to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Identify and report any roofing defects or issues that may affect installation quality.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Complete all work in line with health and safety legislation and company procedures.

- Strong roofing knowledge and practical experience.
- Ability to work confidently at height.
- Experience using roofing tools and equipment safely.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work.
