Overview
TRE‑Life C.I.C. provides person‑centred support to a diverse range of clients in a safe, inclusive environment that promotes personal development and positive progression. To support our continued growth, we are recruiting a Community Trainer. This role involves delivering one‑to‑one and group‑based support to help clients overcome barriers and progress into employment, training, education, or volunteering.
Key responsibilities
The Community Trainer will:
· Build and maintain professional, supportive relationships with clients.
· Deliver high‑quality training sessions across a range of TRE‑Life courses.
· Provide one‑to‑one and group support to clients aged 16–67, using a variety of interventions to build confidence, motivation, and employability skills.
· Work collaboratively with partner services to ensure clients receive the most effective, holistic support.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers and key stakeholders.
· Maintain accurate and timely records in line with organisational requirements.
· Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of training materials.
· Gather regular feedback from clients and stakeholders to support service improvement.
· Adhere to all TRE‑Life C.I.C. policies, procedures, and safeguarding standards.
Skills, knowledge and experience
· Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
· Experience working effectively as part of a team.
· Confident using Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
· Strong organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities.
· Ability to motivate, encourage and support a diverse range of clients.
· Flexible and adaptable, adjusting approach and delivery to meet changing client and service needs.
· Qualification at SCQF Level 7 or above, or relevant equivalent experience.
· Ability to record data accurately and maintain high‑quality documentation.
· Good time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
· Experience using databases or case‑management systems (preferred).
