As a Customer Service Agent, you expertly bring to life the Northgate experience, managing the needs of customers, colleagues and managers to ensure our vehicles are where we need them to be, when we need them to be there.
Life as a Customer Service Agent with Northgate Vehicle Hire
Our branches are busy, fast-paced environments and, as a Customer Service Agent, you’ll be right at the heart of the operation. As one of the first points of contact for our customers, delivering excellent service with confidence and professionalism will come naturally to you.
No two days are the same. From sourcing vehicles and managing bookings, to resolving customer queries, handling account administration and coordinating vehicle movements in and out of branch, you’ll thrive on managing multiple priorities while keeping everything running smoothly.
This is a hands-on role, so you’ll also support with vehicle deliveries and collections, including checking customers in and out at the branch. You may also assist with vehicle valeting when required to help maintain our high presentation standards.
Strong communication skills are essential, along with a polite and professional telephone manner and the ability to quickly build rapport with both internal colleagues and external customers.
You don’t need previous vehicle rental or industry experience to join us - our comprehensive induction training will provide all the support you need. What you will need is excellent customer service and administration skills, a calm, positive, can-do attitude and a Full UK or EU Driving Licence.
The Coventry branch operates a busy fleet of light commercial vehicles servicing customers across the Midlands. It’s a fast-moving, varied and exciting environment where there’s always something happening and no two days look the same.
