As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our Operations team and creating an exciting new opportunity for an ambitious and driven Operations Co-ordinator to join the business. You will thrive in a high-pressure logistics environment, be confident making decisions quickly and possess the ability to prioritise effectively while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
This position would suit someone with previous experience in express logistics, transport planning or road freight operations who is looking to progress their career within a professional and supportive business.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing competitive quotations for UK and European dedicated van and truck movements
- Planning and coordinating UK and European express transport solutions
- Managing export and import dedicated vehicle movements
- Coordinating drivers, subcontractors and third-party suppliers
- Building strong relationships with customers and delivering exceptional service levels
- Monitoring operational performance and resolving issues efficiently
- Ensuring high standards of communication, accuracy and customer care at all times
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience within transport planning, express logistics or road freight operations
- Strong UK and European geographical knowledge
- Commercial awareness with the ability to make sound operational decisions
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-moving environment
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Self-motivated, adaptable and able to use initiative confidently
