The Spa / Beauty Therapist Role
We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Spa Therapist to join our growing Spa Team.
Key responsibilities of a Spa / Beauty Therapist include;
- To ensure that all clients receive an efficient and a quality service during their treatments.
- Offer advice to customers on the range of treatments and products available and home care routines, taking every opportunity to upsell.
- Maintain all relaxation and treatment rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with Company standards and to comply with statutory legislation.
- Ensure all treatments are carried out the highest possible standard to promote customer loyalty and ensure maximum yield.
- To actively promote the venue at every opportunity
- Talk to your clients, find out what they want and how you can help them – actively make them feel special
- Talk with passion and enthusiasm, easy to have a conversation with, happy to contribute, engages others around them
- Support the Head Therapist with responding to Spa Enquiries – both via email and telephone.
- Meeting and greeting guests, taking bookings for Spa Packages, ensuring all payments have been taken.
The Ideal Spa / Beauty Therapist must have:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy
- Experience in additional treatments such as gel nails would be advantageous
- Own transport due to our location
This role will predominately be for weekends, however the Spa is open 7 days a week so other days may be offered. We normally operate between 8am and 8pm and your shift will range between these hours and will vary depending on business levels. There will be the occasional requirement to work an early evening twilight shift.
As with all Spa resorts, our busiest times are at the weekend.
