We are currently looking for a Skilled Vehicle Technician at our Stamford Car Dealership. The successful applicant should have technical qualifications of level 3 or above and will be fully experienced with all modern materials and procedures, together with the ability to produce a consistently high calibre of work and be totally committed to our excellent standards of customer care.
Duties include:
- Perform maintenance and repair on customer vehicles.
- Identify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment.
- Explain automotive repairs and issues and provide great customer service.
- Plan repair procedures using manuals and experience.
- Test the functionality of parts and systems
- Perform care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation.
- Perform routine maintenance and general mechanic work on all vehicles in a fast-paced environment.
A nominated MOT Tester would be advantageous but not essential for the role.
Licence/Certification:
- City & Guilds Automotive or NVQ equivalent (required)
- Driving license (required)
- MOT Tester (preferred)
