Trainee Commercial Tyre Fitter

Location: Gateshead

Goodyear tyres are the product of over 100 years of innovation and state-of-the-art technology, offering very high levels of performance and safety and is a brand that is looking for several tyre fitters to support them all the way through their career.

What You’ll Do

Deliver professional tyre fitting and maintenance services to customers in line with service level agreements.
Attend customer sites and roadside breakdowns, ensuring timely and effective support (day or night).
Complete job cards, fleet inspections, and all required documentation accurately and efficiently.
Maintain company vehicles and equipment to a high standard of care and safety.
Follow all health and safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
Manage workload effectively, prioritizing tasks to meet customer and business needs.

What We’re Looking For

A recognised qualification in tyre fitting (Bus, Truck & Coach or Roadside Breakdown) is desirable, but not essential.
Interest in developing a career in tyre fitting, with a strong focus on customer service (full training provided).
A valid UK driving licence.
Confidence using digital tools such as tablets or computers.
Strong communication skills, with experience interacting with customers.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Well-organised, proactive, and committed to maintaining high safety standards.

Important Information:

Full-time, permanent role with opportunities across multiple UK locations.
Overtime, Callouts and Weekend Work may be required.
Full training provided, including a City & Guilds qualification.
Competitive salary (£30,000 - £35,000 OTE).
Company van, equipment, and health & safety training provided.
