As demand for robotics continues to grow across the UK and Europe, we are looking for an ambitious Robotics Sales Manager to join our expanding team.
The Opportunity
This is not a traditional product sales role.
You will be helping organisations solve real operational challenges such as labour shortages, rising operational costs, ESG requirements and service consistency through robotics and automation.
You will take ownership of the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through to demonstrations, commercial proposals, negotiations and account growth.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys consultative selling, building relationships with decision-makers and introducing innovative technology to the market.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
- Generate new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking and referrals.
- Develop relationships with senior decision-makers including:
- Managing Directors
- Operations Directors
- Facilities Managers
- Hotel General Managers
- Procurement Teams
- Estates Managers
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline within HubSpot CRM.
- Attend exhibitions, networking events and industry conferences.
Consultative Sales
- Understand customer operational challenges and identify suitable automation opportunities.
- Conduct discovery meetings and site surveys.
- Calculate ROI, labour savings and operational benefits for customers.
- Present robotic solutions and automation strategies.
- Deliver in-person and virtual demonstrations.
Commercial Management
- Produce quotations, proposals and business cases.
- Negotiate commercial terms and leasing agreements.
- Manage tender opportunities and procurement processes.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Account Management
- Develop long-term relationships with clients.
- Identify upselling opportunities including:
- Additional robots
- Service agreements
- Extended warranties
- Software subscriptions
- Fleet expansion projects
- Work closely with operations and technical teams to ensure successful deployments.
Products You Will Represent
You will be selling a range of intelligent automation solutions including:
- Autonomous Scrubbier & Dryer Robots
- Commercial Vacuum Sweeping Robots
- Hotel Delivery Robots
- Hospitality Service Robots
- Reception & Guide Robots
- Industrial Robots
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 12 months you will:
- Build a qualified sales pipeline exceeding £500,000.
- Deliver regular customer demonstrations.
- Secure new business across target sectors.
- Establish SPARK Robotics as a recognised automation partner within your territory.
- Consistently exceed sales targets.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years B2B sales experience.
- Experienced in high-value sales and processes.
- Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
- Proven experience managing a full sales cycle.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and target driven.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel across the UK and occasional over-night stays.
