Full job description

The business is looking to recruit a Sales Coordinator to join its commercial team. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, this is a varied internal role combining sales coordination, sales analysis, customer service, customer communication and sales reporting.

The successful candidate will act as an important link between customers, Sales, Finance and wider internal teams, ensuring customers receive a high level of service and that sales information and reporting are accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities Include:

· Managing day-to-day customer enquiries and providing a high level of customer service.

· Analysing sales reports and customer data to identify trends, opportunities and areas requiring attention.

· Working closely with the Sales and Finance teams to ensure accurate information and smooth order processing.

· Making outbound calls to customers to follow up on enquiries, orders and general requirements.

· Supporting the sales team with quotations, orders and customer administration.

· Maintaining accurate customer records and CRM information.

· Proactively communicating with customers rather than relying solely on email.

The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, organised and commercially minded, with the confidence to pick up the phone and speak directly with customers. Previous experience within an internal sales, sales coordination, customer service or commercial administration role would be advantageous.

Importantly, this role offers genuine long-term progression. For the right individual, there is the opportunity for the position to develop into a more commercially focused Sales / Account Management role, with increased responsibility for customer development and sales.

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
