Full job description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to work for this successful, dynamic company in Newcastle. You will manage the finance team and your duties will be as follows:

Responsible for financial strategy and leading the finance team
Production of monthly management accounts, with full commentary
KPI monitoring and departmental performance management
Leading budgeting and financial planning
Preparation of the annuals budgets and liaising with department heads
Responsible for cashflow forecasting, variance analysis and profit and loss
Reviewing accruals, prepayments, deferred income and bad debt provision
Processing monthly payroll, and managing purchase and sales ledgers
Annual audit preparation and liaising with the audit team
Improving financial processes and controls

A qualified Accountant, you will be a key member of the senior management team and be highly invested in driving the business forward. Strong IT skills are imperative.
