Full job description

We offer high-tech solutions for heating, cooling and heat recovery that reflect today's demand for sustainable construction.

We currently have a full time vacancy for a Technical Support Engineer based at our head office in North Shields to provide technical support on our range of Air Conditioning Products for our growing installer network.

As a technical support engineer, you will handle post-sale technical enquiries including fault finding, product information, spare parts and more from our installer network. You will be given training in all manufactured products and intrusted to provide the best technical support to our customers and engineers.

The Role

Take ownership for technical and service-related enquiries.
Develop an understanding of this companies service department and work as part of a wider team providing technical support to field service engineers, customer services, warranty claims and sales teams.
Identify emerging issues and trends and escalate to Technical Services and Product Management teams
Provide feedback from the field to the Training department for the development of training material
Remain up to date with the relevant industry standards, British Standards, Building Regulations etc
Provide support to installers in regard to relevant industry regulations, standards and documentation
Use the business systems in place to support activities of job role and enable accurate reporting.
As a member of the technical team you may be asked on occasion to undertake a variety of tasks and/or be involved in projects undertaken by the technical department

The Person:

FGAS 2079.
At least 5 years experience.
NVQ level 2/3 Air Conditioning.
Experience of fault diagnosis.
Exceptional customer service.
This role requires excellent IT, organisational, communication and presentation skills with a strong customer focus.
Ability to accurately interpret and communicate manufacturers instructions and industry standards.

Pay: £45,000.00 per year
