PART TIME AIRCRAFT CLEANER - FIXED TERM - 21:30 - 0300 SHIFT TIMES
We are currently offering a fixed term contract until 30th September 2026 with the possibility of an offer of a permanent contract at the end of this period.
Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Aircraft Cleaners to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aircraft interiors are cleaned to the highest standards, contributing to a positive experience for passengers and crew. This position requires a strong commitment to quality and customer service, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Given the nature of this role, you must be available to cover the all shift times 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including Bank Holidays and religious festivals, day shifts and night shifts possible.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors, including seats, carpets, windows, and lavatories.
- Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct inspections of cleaned areas to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Report any damages or maintenance issues observed during cleaning to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of cleaning tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding positively to any passenger or crew inquiries regarding cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain and retain a full airside pass including a satisfactory criminal record check
- Must be able to obtain and retain Counter Terrorism Clearance (CTC) which will involve an in depth background check process
- Must have lived in the UK continuously for a minimum of 3 years to be able to qualify for CTC
- Must hold a valid Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Previous experience in a cleaning or customer service role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on customer service.
- A valid driver's licence is desirable for transportation purposes within the airport premises.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, nights and weekends as required.
