Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and versatile Multi-Skilled Handyman / Property Maintenance Operative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of property systems and structures, ensuring safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal across our facilities. Your expertise will help create a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for all occupants and visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a broad skill set who thrive on problem-solving and delivering excellent service.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs to keep properties in optimal condition
Conduct electrical work such as troubleshooting wiring issues, replacing fixtures, and understanding electrical schematics
Operate and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation systems within the property
Use welding techniques to repair metal structures or components as needed
Read and interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings to accurately carry out repairs or installations
Supervise maintenance projects, coordinate with contractors, and ensure timely completion of tasks
Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant or occupant requests promptly and professionally
Lead small teams or oversee subcontractors during maintenance projects, demonstrating leadership skills

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and fix diverse issues efficiently
Electrical experience including wiring, circuit testing, and understanding electrical schematics
Proficiency in working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation systems
Skilled in welding techniques for metal fabrication or repairs
Ability to interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately
Excellent supervisory skills with experience in supervising maintenance teams or contractors
Clear communication skills in English to effectively coordinate tasks and interact with clients or team members
Customer service orientation with a friendly, professional approach
Demonstrated leadership capabilities to guide projects and motivate team members
