Full job description

McGaffin Mechanical Ltd are seeking a reliable and practical individual to assist with the maintenance and mechanical upkeep of our vehicles, plant, workshops, yard areas,

Main Duties

Basic maintenance and servicing of vans, trailers, and plant equipment
Organising and maintaining workshop and yard areas
General property maintenance and repairs
Assisting with equipment checks and fault finding
Loading/unloading and general yard duties
Keeping company facilities clean, organised, and operational
Liaising with external suppliers and repair companies where required

Ideal Candidate

Mechanically minded with good practical skills
Experience with vehicles, trailers, plant, or machinery desirable
Able to work independently and use initiative
General handyman / maintenance experience preferred
Full driving licence essential
Forklift or trailer experience advantageous
