Location: Waltham Cross, EN8 8YD
Pay: £17.00 per hour

As a Casual Security Officer, you will have the opportunity to provide security services across a portfolio of sites for a world-leading global technology organisation. You will play a vital role in protecting people, property, and assets while delivering exceptional customer service and upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness️

As a Casual Security Officer, you will be working across multiple locations within a designated area. You will also be responsible for conducting patrols, monitoring security systems including CCTV and alarms, controlling site access, and ensuring a safe and secure environment at all times. Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate
Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate
Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
To provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

A valid SIA licence
CCTV licence
The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
Reliable and trustworthy
Works well within a team
Computer literate
Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
