Skills & Experience Required:
- CNC Machining Expertise: Programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines, with experience in fixture design and machining process development for complex, multi-operational parts.
- Technical Proficiency: Confident in using Fanuc controls, including Live Tooling, Sub Spindle and Y-axis.
- Precision Engineering: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work to tight tolerances, and independently set up machines without supervision.
- Quality Assurance: Competent in self-inspection of produced parts and interpreting CMM inspection results to ensure compliance with high-quality standards.
- Hands-on Engineering Experience: Strong practical knowledge of CNC machining and general engineering practices, ideally in small-batch production.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Awareness of manual handling procedures and adherence to HSE regulations in a shop floor environment.
- Proactive & Independent Work Ethic: Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a strong sense of initiative.
- Team-Oriented Approach: A flexible team player who can also work independently and remain focused under pressure.
- Target & Quality Driven: Committed to meeting production times and quality standards while maintaining excellent timekeeping.
- Adaptability & Commitment: Willing to work overtime when required and capable of operating multiple machines simultaneously.
Desirable Skills
- Good PC skills for data entry and CNC programming.
- Offline Programming Experience
