Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, catering, and restaurant experience, with a focus on creating high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. A keen eye for food safety and excellent serving skills are essential to ensure customer satisfaction and uphold our standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and presentation
Support catering events by preparing large quantities of pizza for functions or special occasions
Serve customers efficiently, providing friendly and professional service at all times
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Follow all health and safety guidelines to guarantee a safe working environment for staff and customers

Experience

Previous experience in a catering or restaurant setting, ideally with a focus on pizza or Italian cuisine
Proven skills in cooking, food preparation, and meal assembly within a commercial kitchen environment
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
Experience in serving customers directly, demonstrating excellent communication skills
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in pizza preparation is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
