Success Profiles
We use an assessment framework called ‘Success Profiles’ which lists the elements we test and provides detailed descriptions of each. Find out more about the framework here .
For this post, the following Success Profile elements will be assessed:
Behaviours
- Communicating and Influencing (Level 1)
For example, describe how you explain information clearly, build positive relationships and adapt your communication style to different audiences.
- Working Together (Level 1)
For example, describe how you collaborate with others, share knowledge and contribute to a supportive and inclusive team culture.
- Developing Self and Others (Level 1)
For example, describe how you're committed to learning and development, both for yourself and by supporting the growth of those around you.
- Delivering at Pace (Level 1)
For example, describe how you prioritise effectively, manage competing demands and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.

How to Apply
Apply online, you must provide a CV and Supporting Statement (of no more than 750 words ) which provides evidence of how you meet the Success Profiles above.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools can be used to support your application, but all statements and examples provided must be truthful, factually accurate and taken directly from your own experience. Where plagiarism has been identified (presenting the ideas and experiences of others, or generated by artificial intelligence, and presented as your own) applications will be withdrawn and internal candidates may be subject to disciplinary action.

Stage one (application sift):
Candidates will have their applications assessed against all Success Profile criteria listed above unless there is a large number of applications, in which case, an initial sift will be conducted on the Communicating and Influencing Behaviour as listed above. Candidates who pass the initial sift will have their applications fully assessed against the remaining behaviours.
Stage two (interview and job simulation exercise):
If successful at application sift, you will be invited to an assessment and interview where we will test all criteria listed above. All the Behaviours outlined in the Success Profiles will be assessed at this stage.
We aim to provide feedback on request. However, if we receive a large number of applications, feedback following the sift stage will be limited to scores only and we will not be able to provide specific feedback on applications. We will provide feedback on request to candidates who attend the interview/assessment stage.
Information Session
We are holding candidate information sessions for this role to provide you with information about the application and interview process as well as further information on the role and team.

Reserve List
Please note that start dates for these positions are not yet confirmed. This recruitment campaign is being conducted on a recruit-to-reserve basis to support anticipated future resourcing needs. Candidates who are successful at selection will be placed on a reserve list in merit order.
Being placed on the reserve list does not guarantee an offer of employment. Appointments will be made as vacancies arise and may be made over a period of up to 12 months. Successful candidates will be contacted when a suitable opportunity becomes available. At that stage, full details of the role and team will be provided.

Working Pattern
Our standard hours are 35 hours per week and we offer a range of flexible working options, depending on the needs of the role. Most of our roles are a hybrid working style where all colleagues will spend time 2 days per week in either our Glasgow or Dundee offices. However, we may offer a role which requires on-site working. Details will be given with the appropriate offer. For this role the home location will be 220 High Street, Glasgow. Security Checks
Successful candidates must complete the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), before they can be appointed. BPSS is comprised of four main pre-employment checks – Identity, Right to work, Employment History and a Criminal Record check (unspent convictions). The offered post may require the successful candidate to clear additional National Security Vetting clearance before a start date can be offered. These may be Security Clearance, Developed Vetting or Counter Terrorism Check. If this is the case, then the successful candidate will be made aware of this at the job offer stage. Right to Work in the UK / Skilled Worker Visa

Please note that UK immigration guidance, including skill and salary thresholds and eligible occupations, is reviewed regularly and subject to change. The Modern Apprenticeship roles will not be suitable for sponsorship. The successful candidates would need to be able to prove another Right to Work route. Further Information
The successful candidate will be expected to remain in post for a minimum of 3 years unless successful in gaining promotion to a higher Band or Grade.
