Full job description

Job Overview

BDD have an opportunity for a Clinical Trial Administrator to join the team at our clinical trial unit within Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

The Clinical Trial Administrator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the BDD Clinical Site by providing a variety of administrative support; managing and maintaining our volunteer and patient databases; trial related documentation management and clinical trial data entry.

This is a full time, permanent role (37.5 hours a week), core hours are 10-12 and 2-4pm, Monday to Friday. If you would prefer to work part-time, opportunities may be available for the right candidate. No previous experience in clinical research is necessary as full training will be provided

Education, Qualifications and Experience

National 5’s including English and Maths or equivalent
Experience in public facing role / telephony skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with databases or CRM tools.
Strong communication and time management skills
Proactive approach with high levels of initiative and commitment
Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing plans and priorities
A patient-centric mindset and commitment to ethical recruitment practices.
Problem-solving skills to address recruitment challenges effectively

Desirable

Experience managing social media accounts and websites
