About Elanic Hospital
Elanic Hospital opened in September 2024 and has quickly established itself as a leading private hospital in Glasgow City Centre, serving patients across Central Scotland. Building on the success of Elanic Clinic (established 2013), the hospital expanded its facilities to include three operating theatres (one with Ultra-Clean laminar flow capability for joint surgery), five inpatient bedrooms (including high-dependency), a daycase recovery suite, and an extended consulting space.

We have a strong reputation for quality and patient satisfaction and maintaining exceptionally low infection rates. Our services span Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Plastics/Cosmetics, ENT, Gynaecology, General Surgery, and more.

About the Role
A hands-on admin role focused on managing patient enquiries, coordinating post-consultation pathways, and supporting the full patient journey through to surgery. This role does not book initial consultations but plays a key part in triage, communication, and pathway progression. There is clear progression to Medical Coordinator for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities:

Handle inbound calls from patients and insurers, logging enquiries and managing expectations on call-backs from the Medical Coordinator
Take accurate messages and ensure timely escalation for follow-up
Process post-consultation outcomes (imaging, physio, NFA)
Book all onward referral appointments
Create and issue surgical booking packs
Send written confirmation of bookings, balance reminders, and patient updates via agreed channels
Track all referrals, chase external providers, and ensure reports are returned
Maintain clear oversight of each patient journey and ensure every patient has a defined next step (follow-up or discharge)
