Full job description

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Psychological Therapist to join our growing private practice. This part-time employed role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy while contributing to service development and the wider functioning of a multidisciplinary team.

The role involves working with adults (16+) across a range of presentations, delivering therapeutic interventions (including CBT), and managing a caseload of approximately 12–18 clients per week. You will also be involved in assessment, formulation, risk management, and maintaining accurate clinical records.

In addition to clinical work, therapists are expected to contribute to practice development, including marketing, stakeholder engagement, and supporting the overall client journey. There are also opportunities to develop and deliver psychoeducational workshops.

This role is based fully in-person within our Glasgow practice, with a structured working pattern including weekend and evening clinics. It is well suited to therapists who are confident working autonomously, comfortable with private practice expectations, and motivated to support service growth.

Key Requirements:

Degree in Psychology (minimum 2:1) and relevant therapy qualification
Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience (final-stage doctoral trainees with significant clinical experience, or newly qualified considered)
Registration with HCPC, BACP, or equivalent
Experience delivering evidence-based therapies (CBT essential, Schema is preferred).
Strong clinical, organisational, and communication skills
