Carters is a dynamic, fast-growing Scottish law firm, with offices across Glasgow, Ayrshire and central Scotland. We merge tradition with innovation to deliver exceptional legal services — and we're looking for a driven trainee to join our Property Department in Glasgow.

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Post-Diploma Trainee Solicitor to join our expanding Property Departments. You will work alongside experienced Directors and solicitors, gaining hands-on experience across a varied and stimulating caseload covering both residential and commercial property transactions.

What You'll Be Doing

Assisting with residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to settlement
Supporting the team on commercial property acquisitions, disposals, and lender work.
Drafting and reviewing missives, contracts, and standard property documentation
Liaising with clients, agents, and other solicitors to progress transactions efficiently
Conducting due diligence and title investigations
Developing your legal skills under the mentorship of experienced Directors

What We're Looking For

Completion of the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice
A genuine interest in property law and conveyancing
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple transactions
A proactive, client-focused approach and a willingness to learn
Ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team environment
