Job Description:
J&G Coughtrie Lighting is seeking a talented midweight graphic designer with videographer skills to join our team. You’ll be working with a talented product design and marketing team for the J&G Coughtrie brand and other brands within the Coughtrie International house. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a keen eye for detail and a background in STEM to help understand and communicate the technical benefits of the products we manufacture. You will be responsible for creating visually stunning designs that will be used across a variety of mediums, including print, digital, product and video.
Responsibilities:
- Design and produce high-quality graphics for print and digital media.
- Create engaging video content for social media and other digital platforms.
- Work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and campaigns.
- Work collaboratively with the design team to develop product assets such are packaging, on-product graphics, user manuals and product specification sheets.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Develop brand assets such as icons, logos, and new visual architecture.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and techniques.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience in graphic design and videography.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe Express).
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design and videography skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Outstanding graphical layout abilities with keen understanding of typography and colours.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Mail Chimp.
- Experience with photography
- Experience with front-end web design with Figma or alternatives
