Are you looking for your next challenge, or are you looking to use your skillset in a new environment? This could be the role for you!

The continued growth and success of our Company has created a vacancy for an experienced Estimator to join our expanding team.

About the role:

As an Estimator, you would be primarily responsible for the following:

· Managing allocated projects from receipt to submission.

· Review and prepare tender documents.

· Ensuring timeous delivery of tenders using different methods.

· Manage client and sub-contractor enquiries and relationships.

· Review client drawings and specifications.

· Overseeing projects to ensure costs remain in line with forecasts.

· Hours of work Mon to Fri: 08.00 – 16.00, however please note that out of hours work will be required also noting there will be travel throughout the UK with this role.

Essential

· The successful candidate should have 3 years+ experience.

· A full UK driving licence is essential and a requirement to travel throughout the UK.

· Organised and the ability to multitask.

· Strong numerical skills & attention to detail

· Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

· A basic understanding of Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications.

· Able to use own initiative.

Desirable

· A recognised Construction/Estimating qualification or appropriate hands-on experience in the industry.

· HSE awareness.

· Ability to read Construction drawings and understand technical specifications.

· Experience in preparing costings, BoQ’s etc.

· Knowledge and understanding of the principles of Fire Safety.
