Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Cocktail Bartender/Barista to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages in a lively environment, ensuring guests receive exceptional service. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in restaurant or bar environments is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Duties

Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, coffees, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
Greet guests warmly and take their orders promptly
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
Handle cash and card transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
Ensure all drinks are served responsibly, adhering to licensing laws and safety regulations
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods
Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote special offers or events
Manage multiple orders efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or similar roles is preferred but not essential
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Excellent serving skills with a friendly, professional manner
Basic maths skills for handling payments and measuring ingredients accurately
Good time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy shifts
Ability to work well under pressure in a lively environment
A positive attitude with excellent communication skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
