At Allied Vehicles we design, develop, and manufacture a wide range of specialist vehicles, including wheelchair accessible vehicles, taxis, and minibuses.

In addition to manufacturing vehicles, we also offer a range of aftersales services (onsite and mobile), including servicing, repairs and maintenance and we are Scotland’s largest independent parts distributor.

We are now recruiting for a Cleaner/Labourer to join our Operations Team.

You will support departmental cleaning operations to uphold high hygiene standards in line with company policies.

Hours of work are Monday-Wednesday, 7am-6pm and Thursday, 7am-5.30pm and the salary is £13.45 per hour + bonus.

The main duties of the role are:

Perform cleaning tasks indoors and outdoors, ensuring safety at all times.
Keep all work areas clean, tidy, and hygienic.
Maintain high cleaning standards and report any issues to your manager.
Work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Help with general site upkeep, including weeding and litter picking.
Follow all Health & Safety rules relevant to your role and work environment.

To be effective in this role, you will have:

Previous experience of working as a general labourer or cleaner within a similar environment.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good knowledge of safe working practices.

A forklift licence is essential for this role.
