Overview

We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused cleaner to join our in-house team at Kitty O'Sheas West End.

This is an early morning role, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working independently in a well-run, high-volume venue.

Our pub welcomes thousands of guests each week, and maintaining a clean, well-presented environment is a key part of what we do. You’ll be joining an existing, experienced cleaner and will be fully trained to meet our standards.

Hours & Pay

Early morning shifts: typically 08:00 – 12:00 (flexible)
3–6 hours per week, with opportunity for additional hours when available
Weekend work included (working alongside existing cleaner)
Additional hours will always be communicated in advance
Hourly rate (competitive, based on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing

Cleaning and maintaining toilets, bar area, and guest spaces
Wiping tables and preparing the venue for opening
Ensuring floors are properly cleaned (non-sticky, safe, and presentable)
General upkeep of the pub to a high standard
Supporting a consistent, professional presentation of the venue

While major mess is usually handled the night before, you should be prepared to deal with the occasional unexpected clean-up.

What We’re Looking For

Someone who takes ownership of their work and has pride in doing a job properly
Able to work independently and reliably without supervision
Strong attention to detail — especially when it comes to floors and finishing touches
Consistent, dependable, and punctual
Comfortable working alone in the building

Experience in cleaning is preferred, but attitude and reliability matter more than background.

About the Role

This is not an agency-style cleaning role. You’ll be part of a small, stable, in-house team where standards matter and consistency is valued.
