Experienced Seamstress / Alterations Tailor Location: Glasgow Pay: £17.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time / Part-time (negotiable) We are looking for an experienced Seamstress / Alterations Tailor to join our busy and established alterations shop in Glasgow. The role involves working on a wide range of garments, including bridal wear, evening dresses, men's suits, jackets, trousers, kilts and other clothing alterations. We are looking for someone with excellent sewing skills, attention to detail and a passion for high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities: - Alterations and repairs of men's and women's clothing - Bridal and evening dress alterations - Alterations to suits, jackets, trousers, waistcoats and kilts - Working with a variety of fabrics and garment styles - Ensuring a high standard of finish and customer satisfaction Requirements: - Previous experience as a seamstress, tailor or alterations specialist - Ability to work independently and efficiently - Excellent attention to detail - Reliable and professional attitude - Experience with bridal alterations is an advantage What We Offer: - £17.00 per hour - Flexible working arrangements available - Friendly and supportive working environment - Stable long-term position - Opportunity to work on a variety of interesting and high-quality garments If you are an experienced seamstress who takes pride in producing excellent work, we would love to hear from you.
