Full job description

Job Title: Brewer

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £31,000

Based at our production site in St Philips, Bristol, this is an exciting opportunity to join the brewing team at Moor Beer.

Working closely with our Brewery Manager & Head Brewer, we are looking for an experienced brewer to assist in the production of our core and seasonal beers.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work required (Overtime applies)

Your tasks will include:

Wort production
Cellaring and fermentation management
Basic Lab work including yeast counts & viability.
Packaging into Cask, Keg and Can formats
CIPs and site cleaning
Assisting with quality control procedures
Supporting continuous improvement in process and efficiency

The successful candidate will have:

At least 3 years’ experience in brewing
Completed the General Certificate in Brewing (or similar qualification)
A strong understanding of quality control procedures.
High standards of site hygiene and food safety awareness
Strong communication skills
The ability to problem solve and think critically
Excellent attention to detail
A desire to learn and develop
A positive, enthusiastic attitude
A genuine love of flavour-driven, modern beer
