About this Role

We are looking for someone who:

Has GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade C in English and maths
Has relevant experience working in a school environment or other educational setting
Has experience working with children / young people with additional needs (e.g. SEND, behavioural, mental health)
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Is patient and calm
Is Committed to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion

All staff are expected to know what to do if they have concerns about a child, take on the responsibility for providing a safe environment and promoting children’s welfare, undertake regular safeguarding and child protection training and, familiarise themselves with KCSIE part 1 and local policies and procedures as directed by the trust/academy.
