Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Junior Motorsport Graphic Designer & Production Assistant to join our dynamic team. Design & Creative Services
- Create visually striking helmet design concepts and artwork.
- Develop race car livery designs.
- Produce sponsor graphics and branding assets.
- Create social media graphics and marketing materials.
- Prepare accurate, print-ready artwork files.
- Amend customer artwork and complete design revisions.
- Maintain organised design files, templates and archives.
- Ensure all creative work meets Rennat’s quality and brand standards.
- Check artwork dimensions, colours, resolution and production suitability before printing.
Printing & Production Support
- Prepare artwork for printing, cutting and production.
- Operate vinyl printers, UV printers, plotters and associated production equipment.
- Cut, weed and prepare vinyl graphics.
- Prepare masking and application templates.
- Assist with graphic installation preparation
- Support helmet painting preparation where required.
- Monitor print quality throughout production and identify potential defects.
- Record completed print jobs, material usage and any production issues.
- Maintain an organised, clean and safe printing and production area.
- Carry out daily, weekly and scheduled operator-level maintenance of UV printers, vinyl printers and plotters.
- Liaise with equipment suppliers or service engineers when instructed.
Customer Project Support
- Assist customers with design ideas and concepts.
- Interpret customer briefs and translate them into suitable creative directions.
- Prepare visual proofs and mock-ups.
- Liaise with customers regarding design feedback and revisions.
- Clearly explain design options, limitations and production requirements.
- Support project scheduling and workflow management.
- Coordinate with designers, painters and production staff.
- Ensure customer approvals and design sign-offs are documented.
- Maintain accurate project notes, artwork versions and customer records.
- Keep customers updated on project progress when required.
Marketing Support
- Create content for Rennat’s social media platforms.
- Design promotional graphics and advertisements.
- Support event and product marketing campaigns.
- Create website graphics, banners and product visuals.
- Assist with photography and video content preparation.
- Help document completed designs and projects for marketing purposes.
- Ensure marketing materials follow Rennat’s visual identity.
Operational Support
As required, assist with:
- Responding to customer enquiries.
- Packaging and shipping customer orders.
- Stock monitoring and organisation.
- Helmet intake procedures.
- Photographing and documenting incoming customer helmets.
- Inventory management.
- General workshop organisation and cleanliness.
- Opening and closing procedures.
- Event preparation and attendance.
- Maintaining a safe and professional working environment.
- Supporting other departments during busy periods.
Skills & Experience Essential
- Strong Adobe Illustrator skills.
- Strong Adobe Photoshop skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work accurately to deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
