To support the growth and development of our team, we are currently looking to recruit a senior member of our administrative and support team, to look after our training and HR requirements.
The role
The role requires you to be passionate about people. It will include:
· Managing student training requirements – we have trainees with the ICAEW, ACCA, AAT and ATT, as well as apprenticeships. We work with a number of different colleges and accountancy training providers and you will need to coordinate these activities and monitor the associated costs.
· Managing all other professional training including CPD, technical training, soft skills training and systems training.
· Dealing with the administrative aspects of the firm’s HR requirements, such as assisting with recruitment, interviews, appraisals, onboarding new staff etc.
· Developing initiatives to improve team morale and ensure that Crowthers is a happy place to work where our staff can thrive.
The role is based across all four offices: Pershore, Ledbury, Twyning and Cheltenham. You will be required to work in all offices and will not be paid for inter-office travel time. Our central administrative team is based in our Pershore Office which would be your main place of work.
The role is full-time. However, we would consider applicants wishing to work 5 days per week but shorter hours (such as 9am to 3pm).
We are looking to recruit someone with previous experience of training or HR administration or experience of working in an accountancy practice or professional services firm.
Essential qualities:
· Must be willing to take responsibility for our HR and training administration, work independently to develop and enhance our existing systems and procedures and ensure that we are following best practice.
· Must be proactive, able to work under their own steam and show a high level of initiative.
· Must be perceived as highly approachable for staff and seek to promote their health, wellbeing and progression, as well as identifying areas for the directors to improve our offering to the team.
· Must be aware of and always protect/promote the best interests of the firm.
This position will require some travelling between offices so a driving license and access to your own vehicle are required.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
