Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Qualified Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced electricians to utilise their expertise in a dynamic environment, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Candidates must possess a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety procedures, with a keen eye for detail and quality workmanship. The work is predominantly in the renewables sector, with no previous experience of this being essential. This could be a great opportunity to expand your knowledge base.

Duties

Install, test, and commission electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing electrical installations
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete tasks accurately
Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions promptly
Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations and electrical codes
Document work performed and report any issues or discrepancies to management
Collaborate with other tradespeople and project teams to meet project deadlines

Qualifications

Proven experience as a qualified electrician with relevant certifications or licences recognised in the UK
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools specific to electrical work
Strong electrical experience with a thorough understanding of wiring, circuitry, and safety standards
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Valid UK driving licence is desirable but not essential depending on project requirements
