Full job description

We are looking to appoint an Associate Lecturer/s in Sports Nutrition within the School of Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Worcester. You will join a friendly and supportive team, teaching modules on the Undergraduate Sport and Exercise Science course, with the potential to teach across our suite of undergraduate and post-graduate courses.

In the School of Sport and Exercise Science our vision is to use sport as an engine for opportunity, supporting positive social transformation. We have an excellent international reputation in the field of inclusive sport, pioneering new ways to open the joy of active participation in sport to hitherto marginalised and under-represented groups. We also maintain a strong focus on employability in our teaching. Worcester graduates are skilled, experienced, and enthusiastic, and we are confident that they will go on to make a significant impact as the sports practitioners of the future. We offer a range of courses from Foundation Degrees to PhD, with some of our stand-out courses including BSc Sport and Exercise Science, BSc Sport and Exercise Therapy and MSc Sport and Exercise Medicine.

For example, the University of Worcester Arena is the first sports facility in the UK to be designed with the needs of the wheelchair athlete in mind.
