Experienced Permanent Groom Required for a full time Polo/ hunter Role near Tetbury, South Gloucestershire.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent position in a family polo yard team of 4 in the summer and sole charge of family hunters in winter.
The role will suit an organised, self-motivated person who is a confident and experienced competition groom/rider, a team player, but happy to work alone. 5.5 to 6 day week, includes weekend work. Training opportunities and career progression available once established.
Skills to include:
Riding
Turnout and plaiting
Clipping
Full car licence
Lorry Licence and/or trailer licence. (Full training for lorry licence can be provided for right candidate)
The yard has good all year round facilities and long standing team members to offer support. Position would suit someone looking for long term varied role. Salary dependant on age and experience. Start date currently flexible. Accommodation available, sadly no horses.
