Job Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Door Engineer to join our UK-based team. The successful candidate will be a competent and reliable engineer with proven experience in servicing, repairing, maintaining, and installing industrial doors and loading bay products.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, repair, and maintain a variety of industrial door systems
- Carry out routine inspections and fault assessments on door systems
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and safely
- Work closely with clients to understand and meet their requirements
- Ensure all work complies with current health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Provide technical support and assistance to colleagues when required
- Complete accurate service reports and maintain records of work carried out
- Keep up to date with industry developments, products, and best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Industrial Door Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial door systems and associated equipment
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to work
- Familiarity with industry safety regulations and procedures
Essential Criteria
- Full UK driving licence (applicants must be over 21 for insurance purposes)
- Fluent English language skills
- Authorised to work in the United Kingdom
- Ability to work on-site/in person
