We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Sign Fixers Mate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with experienced sign fixers to install, maintain, and repair various types of signage in diverse environments. The Sign Fixers Mate will support the team in ensuring that all signage is installed safely, securely, and to the highest quality standards. You will gain valuable experience working on different types of projects, ranging from commercial to residential sign installations. The role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to adhering to safety protocols, as you will often be working at heights and using various tools and equipment. Responsibilities
- Assist sign fixers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of signs across various sites.
- Prepare and organize tools, equipment, and materials needed for sign fixing tasks.
- Ensure all work is carried out following safety regulations and company policies.
- Support the team in lifting and positioning signage components safely and accurately.
- Help in cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and address any issues on-site.
- Assist with the transportation and unloading of signage materials and related equipment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manual labour or construction support role preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Physically fit and capable of handling heavy lifting and physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in sign fixing and installation.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately.
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
