Full job description

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Hot Foil Label Printer to join our small, busy, family-run factory. Previous experience in hot foil label printing is essential, as this is a skilled role requiring someone who can work independently from the outset. Hours will be between 37.5 and 42.5 per week, worked between 7:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Thursday, with an early finish at 1:00pm on Fridays. We use a range of Newfoil machines to produce high-quality label work. The successful applicant will be reliable, hardworking, and able to maintain high standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

Operate hot foil stamping and foil blocking machinery to produce embossed labels according to specifications
Set up and adjust printing equipment, including calibration of temperature, pressure, and alignment
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to minimise downtime
Prepare materials and substrates for printing processes, ensuring correct placement and handling
Conduct quality checks on finished labels to ensure adherence to quality standards
Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with health and safety regulations
Assist with assembly and finishing tasks as required, including handling heavy lifting when necessary

Experience

Previous experience in manufacturing labels with Newfoil machinery is essential
Familiarity with mechanical systems, fabrication processes, or printing machinery is advantageous
Physical capability for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during shifts
Proven organisational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced setting

Pay: £24,454.04-£30,420.00 per year
