About the Role:
Alloa has a strong connection to central Scotland’s transport and distribution network, and at AnuPort Logistics and Supply Chain Services, we help businesses keep their goods, suppliers, and customers moving efficiently.
We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator who can manage daily transport and delivery activities, communicate with suppliers and carriers, and ensure that shipments are completed accurately and on schedule.
This is a mid level operational position with no executive management responsibilities. You will work closely with warehouse teams, transport providers, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues and maintain reliable logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Transport Coordination:
Arrange daily collections and deliveries with approved transport providers. Confirm schedules, vehicle availability, and delivery requirements.
Shipment Tracking:
Monitor goods in transit and provide timely updates to customers and internal teams. Investigate delays and help resolve delivery issues.
Logistics Documentation:
Prepare and maintain delivery notes, transport records, shipment details, invoices, and proof of delivery documents.
Supplier and Carrier Communication:
Communicate with suppliers, hauliers, warehouse teams, and customers to confirm shipment information and address operational concerns.
Inventory Movement Support:
Coordinate stock transfers between warehouses, suppliers, and customer locations. Ensure that movement records are accurate and updated.
Issue Resolution:
Respond to missed collections, damaged goods, incorrect deliveries, and scheduling conflicts in a professional and practical manner.
Systems and Reporting:
Update logistics systems, spreadsheets, and internal records. Prepare regular reports on delivery performance, delays, and outstanding shipments.
Compliance:
Follow company procedures relating to health and safety, transport documentation, data accuracy, and the secure handling of goods.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in logistics, transport coordination, distribution, warehousing, supply chain operations, or a similar role.
Industry Knowledge:
A practical understanding of delivery scheduling, shipment tracking, transport documentation, and communication with logistics providers.
Organisation:
Strong time management skills with the ability to coordinate several deliveries, collections, and operational requests at the same time.
Communication:
Confident written and verbal communication skills for working with customers, drivers, suppliers, and internal departments.
Technical Skills:
Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, email, logistics systems, transport management systems, or warehouse management software.
Problem Solving:
Able to remain calm under pressure and find practical solutions when deliveries are delayed or operational plans change.
Pay: £2,035.00-£3,000.00 per month
