Full job description

Dyfed Steels is the largest Steel Stockholder and Processor in Wales and the South West of England and has been established for 50 years. Our employee headcount has grown to approximately 270 staff whilst retaining our original family run business roots, under the leadership of the Company’s original Managing Director. As well as our head office in Llanelli, we have ten further regional branches. Our brand is ‘Anything in Steel’. We have recently acquired a subsidiary company with an additional 65 staff.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
Assisting with preparation of divisional reporting
Assisting with weekly cashflows
Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations
Reviewing Nominal Ledger postings for accuracy
Supporting month-end and year-end close processes
Preparing data for financial performance analysis
Petty cash reconciliations
Assisting with Intercompany and Inter divisional transactions
Assisting with Stock reconciliations and adjustments
Assisting with Fixed Asset register maintenance
Supporting the wider accounts team with ad-hoc projects and analysis
