Cross Engineering have been in business 60 years this year and We are currently looking to expand our workforce of highly skilled machinists to keep up with the demands of our customers, new and old, we run a variety of CNC and manual machines which produce an array of high-quality components
Therefore, we would like to recruit another one or two permanent, full time CNC Machinists / Toolmakers / Turners / Programmers to become part of our team.
Key Responsibilities / Skills:
Candidates should be time served and proficient in programming Cad Cam, setting and machining both singular or batch parts and assemblies using CNC and conventional machines
Ideally experienced in one or more of the following;
CNC Milling
CNC Turning
Seimens & XYZ Proturn
Fusion 360
Ability to work with all materials.
Have good accuracy with tolerances, drawings and specification.
The applicant must be:
Reliable, Punctual, Self-motivated with good organisational skills
Good Housekeeping and have the ability to work to a good health & safety practice at all times
Able to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
Have a good approach and outlook to achieving high quality items
Working hours:
Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 4.30pm
Friday 8.00am – 3.30pm

Permanent position for the right candidate
Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour
