Engineering Project Manager
Location: Ruskington

We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our site team, driving capital investment and continuous improvement across the factory. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of key projects, make a real impact, and help deliver operational excellence.

What you’ll be doing

Lead the delivery of site capital plans to support performance and profitability targets
Specify, cost and manage engineering projects from concept through to handover
Deliver projects on time, within budget and with zero harm
Manage suppliers and contractors across all project phases including tender, build, installation and commissioning
Ensure all projects are delivered in line with governance and company procedures
Drive continuous improvement across people, processes and systems
Produce and maintain site layouts and support capital approvals through internal systems (AFETS/SAP)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Technical, HSE, Hygiene and NPD
Identify new technologies and innovations to improve production efficiency
Develop strong business cases and payback justifications for investment
Support wider engineering activities and non-capital projects where required

What we’re looking for

Essential

Level 5 qualification in an Engineering discipline
Proven experience managing capital projects in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of continuous food production processes and factory services
Experience managing contractors, budgets and project delivery
AutoCAD experience
CDM knowledge and strong understanding of Health & Safety
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Commercial awareness with budget management experience
High level of IT literacy
Full UK driving licence

Desirable

FMCG or food manufacturing experience
People management experience
SMSTS qualification
