Duties
- Teach beginner swim lessons for individual or small group lessons
- Teach swimming techniques, including strokes, breathing, and water safety
- Adapt lessons and teaching methods to suit the swimmers in each lesson
- Provide feedback and encouragement to help children improve their swimming skills
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all participants
Qualifications
- STA Level 2 Award or SEQ Level 2
Skills
- Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with children of all ages and skill levels
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching swimming
- Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching is preferred
Hours
- Either Tuesday or Wednesday evening between 4pm and 7pm
- Starting in September
