We are currently recruiting for a professional, friendly and customer-focused Part-Time Receptionist to join a diverse Front of House team.
Job Description
This is a straightforward corporate reception role, ideal for someone with previous reception, front of house, hospitality, hotel, concierge or customer service experience who is looking to develop their career within a professional workplace environment.
You will be part of a wider reception team, with the role having a strong focus on reception and switchboard duties, alongside general administration and workplace support.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as a professional and welcoming first point of contact for visitors, clients and colleagues
- Operating the switchboard and handling incoming calls professionally
- Providing face-to-face customer service and assisting visitors with their enquiries
- Issuing visitor and access passes in line with site procedures
- Carrying out mail runs and supporting general post room activities
- Supporting site inductions for visitors and contractors
- Assisting with basic porterage and general workplace support
- Monitoring incoming jobs and requests through the CAFM system
- Managing the Royal Mail business account and associated administration
- Completing general administrative duties and maintaining accurate records
- Working closely with the wider Front of House and facilities teams
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Previous experience in reception, front of house, hospitality, hotel, concierge or a customer-facing role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable speaking to people face-to-face and handling telephone enquiries
- Professional, friendly and approachable manner
- Confident using Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Comfortable learning and using workplace systems, including CAFM
- Proactive attitude with a genuine focus on delivering excellent customer service
