Overview
We are urgently seeking an experienced Garage Door Installer to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in installation and repair, with a comprehensive understanding of various construction and technical skills. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing garage doors and related systems, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in handling a range of tools, with a keen eye for detail and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain a variety of garage doors and openers in residential and commercial properties.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to complete installations efficiently.
- Perform adjustments to ensure proper operation of garage doors, including alignment and balance.
- Conduct safety inspections during and after installation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timeframes.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining system operations and maintenance procedures.
- Troubleshoot issues related to electrical wiring, mechanical components, or structural elements as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience in garage door installation
- Knowledge of electrical systems relevant to garage door openers and safety features.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques.
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and standards.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
