Medical Receptionist

Regent Medical Centre is located in Gosforth Newcastle upon Tyne.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic medical receptionist to enhance our busy forward-thinking team.

The ideal candidate will possess good communication an excellent telephone manner, a willingness to learn and the ability to use your own initiative.

MAIN DUTIES

Main duties if this role are varied and include reception duties, taking patient enquiries both front desk face to face and on the telephone. General day to day administration, including emails, managing e-consults, scanning, coding, prescriptions and recalls.

This vital role serves as a first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment.

Your enthusiasm to help uphold the highest standards of patient care and help support clinical staff.

Qualifications:

Experience working in a GP practice and with our clinical system 'SystmOne' is preferred but not essential as the right candidate will be given full training.

Regent Medical Centre is a friendly, pro-active and responsive practice. Located in central Gosforth with links to both bus and metro. Parking is available.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
